Is this actually legal?
Yes. You're sharing your own marketing communications, content that brands broadcast to you and millions of others. Google and Apple both permit this when users give explicit consent, which Rewado requires at every step. No personal data is involved.
How much can I realistically earn?
It depends on how many brands you opt into and your tier. In our beta, active Gold-tier users earned in the mid-$40s/month and Platinum testers have cleared $100. It's not replacing your salary. It's pocketing money that would otherwise be invisible to you.
What exactly can Rewado see in my inbox?
Only emails from the specific brand senders you opt into. We cannot see personal emails, attachments, your contacts, drafts, or any email from a non-opted-in sender. You can audit and revoke access at any time from within the app or via your Google account settings.
How is this different from Swagbucks or Fetch?
Those apps reward you for actions that require effort: scanning receipts, watching ads, taking surveys. Rewado is passive: you get rewarded for messages you already receive. And unlike most rewards apps, we don't monetize your personal profile. We only sell aggregated insights about how brands communicate.
What happens if I delete my account?
Full data erasure within 30 days, per GDPR Article 17. Your email integration is immediately revoked. Your anonymized aggregate contributions to past market research remain (they can't be traced back to you), but every personal identifier is permanently destroyed.
Do you support Outlook, Yahoo, or iCloud mail?
Gmail at launch. Outlook and iCloud are on the 2026 roadmap. Screenshot uploads work for any email or notification, regardless of provider, so you can participate today even if you don't use Gmail.
Where is my data stored?
On servers located in the European Union (Frankfurt), compliant with GDPR. Screenshot processing happens on-device via Apple Vision or Google ML Kit. Images never leave your phone for recognition. Only anonymized metadata reaches our servers.
